Shanji AI "PaPa Mirror" released: AI glasses connected to more than ten large models
[TechWeb] On December 20, the smart hardware brand Shanji Technology released its first AI glasses - Shanji AI "PaPa Mirror" A1 (hereinafter referred to as Shanji A1). The product is designed with "building a pair of good glasses" as the blueprint, and has been created in cooperation with Sony Semiconductor, AAC Ruisheng Technology, LOHO, Yuntian Lifei and other manufacturers for nearly a year.
Shanji A1 is equipped with Sony's flagship 16-megapixel camera, weighs about 50g, and is equipped with Shanji's self-developed world's first AI memory system - Loomo OS. It is connected to more than a dozen mainstream large models in China, and can also deeply restore the full-band Hi-Fi level sound. Shanji A1 integrates the capabilities of taking pictures, listening to music, and AI large models.
Joint LOHO design, good-looking and easy to wear
Shanji founder and CEO Zhang Bo said that AI glasses exclude intelligent attributes, and first of all, they should meet the original needs of glasses users, that is, good-looking and easy to wear. To achieve this goal, Shanji has joined forces with LOHO, a leading brand in the eyewear industry, to jointly design Shanji A1. With LOHO's more than ten years of deep cultivation in the eyewear industry and more than 10 million user preference data as design reference, the two parties jointly shaped the classic black frame shape of Shanji A1 that is more in line with the "Fibonacci curve".
In terms of ergonomics, Shanji A1 introduces a spring temple design to achieve ultra-high freedom of folding, which can easily fit different face shapes. The non-sense air cushion nose pad design, with different sizes, does not press the bridge of the nose. At the same time, considering the use needs of AI glasses users in different scenarios, Shanji A1 also provides a variety of fashionable magnetic sunglasses lenses, and randomly gives away a magnetic front frame that can cover the camera with humanistic feelings, responding to users' all-weather wearing needs with more humane design considerations.
LOHO brand founder and CEO Huang Xinzhong said that for the new category of AI glasses, LOHO and Shanji have pioneered an exclusive worry-free service system in the industry, including exclusive scientific fitting standards for AI glasses, exclusive high-quality lens clusters, exclusive flexible processing centers, and one-stop pre-sales and after-sales service systems. In the future, both parties will continue to build an integrated online and offline service system for Shanji A1 around channels, glasses fitting, after-sales and other directions, to ensure that users can achieve leading service experience in all aspects of purchase, optometry and after-sales, and fully empower the creation of popular products.
Intelligent and easy to use, the first mass-produced AI glasses in China
In terms of shooting, Shanji A1 is equipped with Sony's flagship 16-megapixel camera. The teams of both parties have worked together for 200 days. Under the background of 0 reference precedents in the industry, 100% reconstruction of the underlying camera driver, and finally successfully achieved 16 million full-resolution photo quality, 16 million pixel camera low-power video anti-shake, 123° ultra-wide angle accurate simulation of human eye perspective and many other industry firsts on the AI glasses side. Based on the exclusive image stabilization algorithm of the inertial sensor and combined with Shanji's self-developed low-power algorithm, Shanji A1 achieves a "super horizon" stabilization effect comparable to the human eye perspective, which can efficiently support users' daily shooting needs.
In terms of chips, Shanji A1 is equipped with the domestic flagship low-power ARM processor, UNISOC W517, which uses a high-speed 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM storage combination, a 4-core CPU, and a main frequency of up to 2.0, with the unique advantages of high performance and low power consumption. The chip also uses ePOP and ultra-micro high integration technology, and achieves a perfect balance between function and power consumption, as well as extreme lightweight through an ultra-high-density motherboard stacking process comparable to the iPhone 16. In addition, Shanji A1 uses a series of unique designs such as core heating devices avoiding skin contact parts, using the suspended part of the temples to release heat, and isolating the heat dissipation inside and outside the temples to ensure that the heat source is outward, reconstructing the heat dissipation system to ensure that the device is comfortable to wear and stable in operation. It is worth mentioning that based on this chip platform, Shanji has also innovatively launched its self-developed AI glasses platform architecture, Shadow Pupil 1.0, which supports a series of services such as all-weather wear, unlimited long-lasting battery life, independent mobile phone use, and expandable upgrades.
In terms of acoustics, Shanji has teamed up with the AAC Golden Ear team, a leading company in the field of sensory experience technology, to master-tune the comprehensive sound field of Shanji A1, deeply restoring the full-band Hi-Fi-level sound. The product debuts the AAC super-linear Hi-Fi speaker developed with the same technology as the iPhone Taptic Engine, and the speaker volume is far larger than the flagship TWS headphones. At the same time, the speaker also supports dual DSP independent amplifiers, which can provide high-fidelity two-channel stereo, combined with low-frequency enhancement and dynamic EQ dual AI algorithms to achieve audio playback effects far superior to similar products. In addition, Shanji A1 will also open Hi-Fi-level wireless streaming music in the future, download audio sources via Wi-Fi, and achieve lossless playback from the same source as Apple HomePod.
In terms of battery life, Shanji A1 has 3 built-in batteries in the machine, with a total capacity of 450mAh, which is 3 times that of mainstream products in the industry such as Ray-Ban Meta. In terms of charging method, Shanji A1 innovatively adopts a more beautiful and convenient Pogo-Pin magnetic interface, which supports charging while wearing. Not only that, as a benchmark player in the field of energy storage, Shanji also officially launched the world's first extended-range endurance solution designed specifically for AI glasses at this press conference - AI glasses extended-range ring, which uses a 6500mAh large-capacity battery and even supports reverse charging to hardware products such as mobile phones.
In terms of weight, the Shanji A1 weighs about 50g, but the user's perceived weight is only about 30g. Zhang Bo said that this is because Shanji A1 innovatively adopts a rear-mounted battery design, placing two batteries on the temples, thereby effectively alleviating the load-bearing pressure on the bridge of the nose.
In terms of software and AI, Shanji A1 is equipped with Shanji's self-developed world's first AI memory system - Loomo OS (Chinese name: Lu Mou). The system integrates rich services such as AI cloud disk, AI flash memory, Agent Store, cloud AI center, data security system, Hi Shanji, etc., which can realize efficient recording, fast storage and multi-terminal synchronization of users' multimodal data such as recordings, text and images. Through the built-in AI application store (Agent Store), flexible call for various AI capabilities can be achieved. In terms of cloud AI services, Shanji A1 has or will soon be connected to more than ten major domestic model manufacturers such as Yuntian Lifei, iFlytek Spark, Tongyi Qianwen, Kimi, and Zhipu. Based on Shanji's self-developed model calling strategy, it takes the strengths of each company to achieve fast, efficient, and agile response to user needs.
Pan Xin, a partner of Shanji AI and a former core member of Google Brain, said that in the past 10 years, artificial intelligence has made breakthrough progress, and the most powerful AI models can already match or even surpass humans in many scenarios. However, the rapid evolution of technology has also exposed a series of problems, such as the exponentially decreasing marginal benefits of Scaling Law, the lack of super applications, and the inability to connect AI platforms and ecosystems... To this end, Shanji proposed a new AI development concept of "new data + new applications + new ecology", using glasses that are closest to human facial features as a carrier, and creating AI glasses to allow AI agents to see what people see, hear what people hear, and think what people think, providing everyone with timely, effective and personalized services.
Pan Xin said that with the Shanji A1 glasses as the medium and the intelligent body as the entrance, in the future users can mobilize the global intelligent bodies with different strengths with just one sentence, let them collaborate to solve any complex segmented problems, and then precipitate digital assets that belong to each person, realize the individual's digital immortality and "dialogue" across time and space.
